AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2024: The Indian Air Force has released the AFCAT age limit and other eligibility requirements through official notification. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before submitting the online application form. All the 12th-pass candidates whose age is 20 years or above can apply for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).
If it is found that they fail to fulfil any of the AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2024, then their candidature will be cancelled by the IAF. (a) Graduation with a minimum of a three years degree course in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2024-Nationality
Besides the AFCAT age limit requirements, candidates should satisfy all the nationality requirements before applying for the post. The candidate must be a citizen of India as per the Indian Citizenship Act, 1955, as per the AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2024.
AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2024-Marital Status
Candidates should be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course, and marriage is not allowed during training. An aspirant who marries during the training period shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenses incurred by the government.
AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 Physical Standard Requirements
Candidates are advised to fulfil the basic AFCAT physical fitness standards to move ahead in the recruitment process. Candidates will not be termed physically fit unless they complete an examination that reflects that they are physically and mentally capable of withstanding the severe physical and mental strain for prolonged periods.
- The minimum height acceptable for flying branches will be 162.5 cm, and other branches will be 152 cm.
- Weight should conform to the standards given for height and age as prescribed in this notification. Variations up to ± 1 SD for female candidates are acceptable.
