HPSC Civil Judge Posts Eligibility and Age Limit

The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have completed Bachelor of Laws from a University established by law and approved or recognised by the Bar Council of India on or before closing date, i.e. January 31, 2024.

 Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years, on or before January 31, 2024. However, relaxation of age will be given to reserved category candidates.

HPSC Civil Judge Selection Procedure

The candidate will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in a main written examination and interview. However, preliminary examinations will be conducted for screening purposes only. 

The question paper for the preliminary examination shall be of two hours duration. It shall consist of 125 questions and each question shall carry 4 marks. For every wrong answer, 0.8 marks, i.e., 20%, or 1/5th marks, will be deducted
