SBI CBO Exam Date 2024: State Bank of India (SBI) is conducting the exam for the post of Circle Based Officer on 21st January 2024. As per the notification, the SBI CBO 2023 online exam will be conducted on January 21, 2024. State Bank of India aims to fill a total of 5447 vacancies for the post of Circle Based Officers through this recruitment drive. Out of these vacancies, 5280 are regular vacancies and the remaining 167 are backlog vacancies. The final selection of the candidates will be done through Online Test, Screening and Interviews.

SBI CBO 2024 Selection Process

The selection will be done on the basis of Online Test, Screening and Interview. The exam will be held online in which 120 questions will be objective type and 50 questions will be descriptive type.

Online Test

The online examination will consist of objective test of 120 marks and descriptive test of 50 marks. The descriptive test will be conducted immediately after the conclusion of the objective test and candidates will have to type their descriptive test answers on the computer.
(i) Objective Test: The duration of the objective test is 2 hours and consists of 4 sections of a total of 120 marks. There will be different timings for each section.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be an English Language (Letter Writing and Essay) test with two questions carrying a total of 50 marks. There will be no sectional qualifying marks. Overall there are minimum qualifying marks and minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the bank.

Screening

The online applications and documents of the candidates who qualify in the online examination will be placed before the screening committee.

 Interview

The interview will be of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in the interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the bank.
