JPSC Exam Date 2024: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is likely to conduct the civil service prelims examination on March 17. The commission has released the official press release. The interested and eligible candidates can submit their online applications until February 29 on the official website.

The JPSC announced the preliminary exam date on its official website. Students who are between 21 and 35 years old can apply for the posts on or before February 29. The table below gives important information about the state civil service examination.

JPSC Selection Process

The selection process for the JPSC will be done in three stages. The details of the exam process are given below:

JPSC Prelims Exam

The very first phase of the recruitment process is the preliminary round. The 400 mark JPSC preliminary exam consists of two different papers with 200 marks each. A selection list for the Main (Written) Examination shall be prepared on the basis of total of marks obtained in both the papers

JPSC Mains Exam 

Those applicants who clear the preliminary exam take the main exam. The Written Examination will consist of six papers, which will total of 950 marks

JPSC Interview

Candidates who successfully clear the prelims and mains exam are then required to take the interview. The interview will be conducted for 100 marks

JPSC Syllabus and Exam Pattern

JPSC will be conducted for the posts of civil service in the Jharkhand government. The JPSC prelims syllabus consists of General Studies papers 1 and 2. The candidates who qualify for the JPSC prelims will be eligible to take the mains examination test.
