JEE Main 2023 Exam Analysis April 11:  The National Testing Agency has commenced the JEE Main Shift 2 exams at 3 PM. Candidates appearing in the second shift of the exam will be able to check the paper analysis, difficulty level, question types and the initial response of the students here. Those who have appeared for the first shift from 9 am to 12 noon can check the subject wise paper analysis here.

JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exams are being conducted from April 6 to 12, 2023. According to the students who have appeared for the exams in the previous days, the exams are overall moderate in difficulty level. While some found the Mathematics paper lengthy, others have stated that the physics and chemistry exams were fairly easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level.

JEE Main Analysis 2023 April 11 Shift 1 – Initial Response

According to the students who appeared for the JEE Main 2023 exams today in shift 1. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2023 analysis, here. According to the students, the overall difficulty level of the exams was moderate to difficult. Subject-wise, Mathematics continued t be tough among all three subjects. 

The Mathematics paper was lengthy due to the calculations. Some of the questions included interspersed sporadically. Questions were asked from Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Vectors and 3D and Permutation and Combinations which were comparatively easier to answer.

Chemistry included questions from topics such as p-block, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Solid State, Alcohol, Phenol and Ether, Solutions and Aldehyde, Ketone and Carboxylic Acid, etc.

Physics

According to the response given by students the Physics paper eas easier among all three subjects. Questions were asked from topics such as Kinematics, Heat and Thermodynamics, EM Waves,  Magnetism, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, Electrostatics, Kinetic Theory of Gases,  AC circuits, Current Electricity, Modern Physics and Ray optics. The paper also consisted of numerical based questions.

Chemistry

The Chemistry exams were moderate in terms of difficulty level. Weightage was given to the Inorganic Chemistry section as compared to Physical and Organic Chemistry. The Physical Chemistry section consisted of numerical questions from topics such as Electrochemistry, Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium. Mole Concept, Solid State, etc.  Questions were also asked from Environmental Chemistry, P-and D Block, Phenols, Chemical Bonding, Coorfination Compounds etc. The Organic Chemisrty section consisted of Amines, Aldehydes and Ketones, Biomolecules, polymers, etc.

Mathematics

Mathematics was moderate in terms of difficulty level. Questions were asked from chapters such as Algebra and Calculus, Vectors, 3D Geometry, Binomial Theorem, Progressions, Matrices, Permunation and Combination and Probability, Differential Queations,Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics,  straight Lines and Circle, Parabola, Definite Integrals, Area,  etc. The Numerical Section consisted of lengthy calculations according to students.
