What is the DEE Assam Teacher Posts Eligibility and Age Limit?
The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a qualified Assam TET or CTET to apply for the posts. Check the details below
Candidates who have passed the ATET or CTET for LP and UP will be eligible to apply.
Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate wishes to apply
Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/MOBC, 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with disabilities (PwBD), as on January 1, 2023

The Selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit, considering the reservation for OBC, MOBC, SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD etc.
DEE Assam Teacher Salary
The selected candidates will be placed in the pay band-2 (PB-2) of Rs 14,000 to Rs 70,000 plus and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019
