CSIR NET Result 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the result of the National Eligibility Test (NET) for JRF and Lecturership/Assistant Professor. The exam was conducted from 26 to 28 December and the answer key was uploaded on 6 Jan 2024. The result will be uploaded on the official website i.e. csir.res.in.

CSIR NET Result Date 2023

The result is expected in January or February 2024. NTA will also release the final answer key. The final answer key and the result are expected to be declared soon, potentially within 40-50 days after the closing of the objection window.

Procedure and Criteria for Declaration of Result

Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per subject wise scheme of the Exam. If a question for any reason is found to be wrong, the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempted the question. On examining the challenges by the subject experts, if it is found that along with the original answer key one more option(s) is correct, then marks will be awarded to all those candidates who have attempted any one of the correct options.

  1. Visit the official website: Open a web browser and go to the official CSIR NET website
  2. Find the result link: Click on the result link
  3. Log in with your credentials: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Security Pin displayed on the screen.
  4. Check Your Marks -After successful login, you can chek your marks
  5. Save or print: Save the result

Result Calculation

The examination results for each session would be prepared in the form of:

  • Raw Scores
  • Percentiles Scores of Total raw scores.

The Percentiles would be calculated for each candidate in the Session as follows:

Let TP1 be the Percentile Scores of Total Raw Score of that candidate.

Total Percentile (TP1): 100 X No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score
EQUAL TO OR LESS than T1 score/Total No. of candidates appeared in the session
