SSC Constable GD Exam 2024: If you have to appear in the recruitment of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) then there is a good news for you. Yes, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to conduct the Constable (General Duty) examination for recruitment in CAPFs in 13 regional languages in addition to Hindi and English from January 01, 2024.
It is noted that the the SSC Constable GD Exam will be conducted for around 48 lakh candidates in 128 cities across the country from 20 February to 7 March 2024.
The decision will result in lakhs of youthtaking part in the examination in their mother tongue/regional language and improve their selection prospects. As a result, the reach of this examination will increase among the candidates in the entire country and everyone will get an equal opportunity for employment.
According to the short notice released, the question papers of Constable (General Duty) examination will now be prepared in the 13 regional languages in addition to Hindi and English including-

- Malayalam
- Kannada
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Odia
- Urdu
- Punjabi
- Manipuri
- Konkani
It is noted that the Constable GD Examination is one of the flagship examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) attracting lakhs of youths from across the country. Accordingly, SSC has issued notification to conduct the Constable (GD) Examination, 2024 in 13 other regional languages in addition to English and Hindi.

It is noted that the SSC GD exam shall begin on 20th February and end on 12th March 2024. Lakhs of candidates will appear for the SSC GD exam for the post of Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles will be able to download their SSC GD admit card 2024 using their login details.
