APSC CCE Prelims Exam Date 2024: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) prelims exam dates. As per the official notice, the preliminary exam will be conducted on March 17, 2024 at 32 district headquarters.
The status of the application and admit card of candidates will be uploaded in the website – apsc.nic.in. Candidates are requested to check the status of their applications before downloading their admit card.
APSC CCE Exam Date 2024

APSC CCE Selection Process
The selection process for the APSC CCE will be done in three stages. The details of the exam process are given below:
APSC CCE Prelims Exam
The very first phase of the recruitment process is the preliminary round. The 400 mark APSC CCE preliminary exam consists of two different papers, General Studies 1 and General Studies 2, with 200 marks each. A selection list for the main (written) examination shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in General Studies Paper 1. In General Studies 1, 30%-35% questions will compulsorily related to Assam
APSC CCE Mains Exam
Those applicants who clear the preliminary exam take the main exam. The Written Examination will consist of six papers of 250 marks each.
APSC CCE Interview
Candidates who successfully clear the prelims and mains exam are then required to take the interview. The interview will be conducted for 275 marks
APSC CCE Syllabus and Exam Pattern
APSC CCE will be conducted for the posts of civil service in the Assam government. The APSC CCE prelims syllabus consists of General Studies papers 1 and 2. The candidates who qualify for the APSC CCE prelims will be eligible to take the mains examination test.
